The key updates in the 2025-2027 contract: salary increases, new labor regulations, and greater flexibility for businesses
After months of negotiations, the new National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL) for the Logistics, Freight Transport, and Shipping sector has been officially renewed. The agreement, signed on December 6, 2024, by major trade unions and employer organizations, was approved in worker assemblies and came into effect on January 1, 2025.
Greater Flexibility for Businesses and Workers
Among the main regulatory innovations, the contract introduces new provisions regarding working hours, subcontracting, fixed-term contracts, and temporary employment. For warehouse and logistics personnel, work schedules can now be adjusted quarterly without requiring union approval.
New Protections and Corporate Welfare
The new CCNL introduces significant improvements in workers’ rights and corporate welfare. Key innovations include:
- Solidarity leave and new paid leave for family and personal events.
- Introduction of smart working measures, with clear rules on disconnection and safety.
- Improved conditions for cooperative workers, ensuring salary protection in case of workplace accidents.
Greater Transparency in Subcontracting
To ensure security and compliance in the sector, the new contract enforces stricter requirements for service providers in subcontracting. These includemandatory anti-mafia certification and compliance with safety and social security regulations.
The new Transport and Logistics National Collective Agreement marks a step forward for the sector, with a balance between the needs of companies and the rights of workers. To keep up to date with industry news, subscribe to our newsletter!
