Fincantieri NexTech (70%) and Accenture (30%) have joined forces to launch Fincantieri Ingenium, a new joint venture designed to lead the digital transformation of the maritime industry. The goal is ambitious: to integrate cutting-edge technologies to make ships, ports, and infrastructure increasingly intelligent, connected, and sustainable. The project is subject to standard regulatory approvals.

Seamless Sea-to-Shore Connectivity

One of the first initiatives launched by the new company is Navis Sapiens, a digital ecosystem designed for next-generation vessels and upgrades to the existing fleet. The system will integrate applications to optimize operational efficiency and vessel lifecycle management, leveraging artificial intelligence while ensuring maximum cybersecurity. The first ship equipped with Navis Sapiens is expected to enter service by the end of 2025..
