A sustainable solution for cargo

A new development is set to bring about significant change in the air cargo transport sector. e-Smart Group, an alliance founded in the Netherlands in 2025, has launched a program dedicated to developing electric solutions for short-range freight transport. The group brings together commercial, operational, and digital expertise, focusing on two principles: knowledge and innovation.

A new step for sustainable air logistics

The project enters its operational phase with the purchase of twenty Alia Cx300 electric aircraft, which offer impressive performance: up to 560 kg of load capacity, a maximum range of 400 km, and charging times of between 40 and 60 minutes. It is estimated that these aircraft will enable a 75% reduction in emissions and a 30% cut in operating costs compared to traditional aircraft.

The future fleet will be used to handle express shipments, e-commerce traffic, and high-value goods, integrating air transport, customs activities, and first and last mile services. The operating model aims to create a virtual integrator capable of collaborating with local suppliers and connecting with customs authorities in over 120 countries, improving visibility, traceability, and document management.
